Square and Rectangle port flares. These are Made to be used with your self made playwood or mdf rectangle or square port tubes that have 3/4" walls, or at least the last 1" of the tube. The sizes listed are the inside dimensions of the port flare opening and have a 1" radius on the corners and the flare has a 1.5" full radius on the opening.
-Outside dimensions can be calculated by adding 4.25" to the port opening, for example, a 4"x6" port will have an 8.25"x10.25" outside dimension.
-The depth of the port flare from face of box/mounting surface to the face of the port tube is 1.6"
-These fasten to the face of the speaker box and to the end of the port tube,, the port tubes must be supported in the speaker box, these will not support a 2 or 3 foot long tube unsupported.
-To select your size, choose the first and second side sizes, for example, a 4"x6" port you will select 4" for the first side size and then select 6" for the second side size.
-Custom colors are available by request, a charge of $30 will need to be invoiced for this after order placed, you must add into the notes on the order with the specified color. this will add 1 week lead time to the order, the standard black is a stock item on all sizes.
-the 1" radius on the inside corners takes away 1 square inch of port area, for example, if you have a 4"x6" port with a port area of 24 square inches, minus the 1" corner radius, it would be 23 net square inches of port area.
